With just about two weeks left until the start of spring, and the wildflowers have started to appear. Along the MUNI tracks on 19th Avenue in San Francisco near San Francisco State are a "plethora" of bright orange California poppies, one of my very favorite flowers. I took a picture with my cell phone of some while I was stopped in traffic the other day and sent it to my mom.
As Spring draws nearer, it's not a bad idea to encourage the growth of flowers, actually or metaphorically, wherever you go. Here's a way to do it actually. Send flower seeds via postcards to your friends, or better yet, your enemies!
